Need For Mirrors is back with a bang, dropping the 'Dalston Strut' EP on V Recordings—his first full EP for the label since 2021. A key player in the V family since 2008, he's been behind some of the label's most iconic and boundary-pushing tracks. Recently, he made waves with standout contributions to the '30 Years of V' album, consistently showcasing his evolving sound.

The EP kicks off with the title track, 'Dalston Strut,' a nod to East London's vibrant nightlife, blending urban grit with Need For Mirrors' signature bouncing basslines. 'Pickle Factory' follows, named after the renowned London venue, offering a deep, immersive journey into the heart of the dancefloor. 'Water Bending' showcases his ability to craft fluid, dynamic rhythms that ebb and flow with precision. The EP closes with 'Red Alert,' a collaboration with New Zealand-based rapper Young Gho$t. Born in London and raised in Bristol before relocating to Auckland at 14, Young Gho$t brings a unique vocal flair to the track, seamlessly merging his UK roots with his New Zealand experiences. His uncompromising style and poetic performances make him one to watch.

The 'Dalston Strut' EP exemplifies Need For Mirrors' commitment to pushing the boundaries of drum and bass while staying true to the underground. One of his best yet!
